ENTRANCE INFORMATION
Theme: Spider - "Million Miles an Hour" by Nickelback
Entrance Description: A scuttling is heard as the jumbo screen flares to life, showing bugs and a large spider scrambling across the screen. Spotlights dance across the crowd as "Million Miles an Hour" roars through the speakers. The lights lock onto Spider herself, standing at the top of the steps in the midst of the crowd. She slowly walks down the steps towards the ring, smiling at the fans as she goes. She hops the barricade and jumps to the apron, looking out at the crowd. Spider hops up, allowing herself to hang upside down from the top rope, knees wrapped around it, before stepping into the ring and awaiting her match.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Biography:
Despite her appearance in the public sphere in 2014, very little is actually known about Spider. Prior to wrestling, she served a brief sentence in a federal penitentiary, though searching her inmate ID will yield little result: She was imprisoned for grand larceny, and her name is listed as "Jane Doe." Sure enough, even now, nobody is quite sure exactly what Spider's real name is; she changes it as frequently as people ask for it, and her contracts in wrestling are typically signed with her stage name, Spider. Meanwhile, Spider is known to fans as the woman who never speaks: From backstage interviews to on-camera promos, even in the midst of excruciating pain in the ring, it seems that Spider simply will not speak a word. This mystique, combined with her lightning speed and impressive agility, made Spider a virtual overnight sensation during her first run in professional wrestling. Promoters in Underground Wrestling, Fight One, and FSociety hailed her as a true diamond in the rough, and a competitor with a bright future in the business. Unfortunately, Spider snapped her wrist during a match in the later part of her career in FSociety. Rather than allow medical staff to examine it, Spider continued to fight on, winning her next match before the injury became too aggravated. Only after going on a three match losing streak did the medical staff realize what was going on, and Spider was promptly released from her contract. Since then, Spider has had a couple of one-time appearances; she won a match at IWF's Resurgence show in 2016, and fought to the second round of RW's women's invitational tournament. Now, she's returning full-time, seeking to reclaim the opportunity she lost to her injury two years ago.
