[PRIDE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH]
Erron Wilder vs RC Tucker(c)
"Erron Wilder may have lost the chance to be the first PRIDE Champion of the new era, but at Phenomenon, he finds himself with a second chance to claim the top prize in the company. After defeating Anushka Aalto at Phenomenal Preview, Erron gained the opportunity to be RC’s first challenger. Going into Phenomenon, Erron has only one loss, and it is to the man standing across the ring from him, and for the championship that he wears on his shoulder. On the other hand, RC Tucker is nursing a loss on his record, and it was in a match where Erron’s hand was raised at the end. RC is hoping that lightning will strike twice and propel him past Erron once and for all. Erron Wilder is hoping to reestablish himself as the best that Pride has to offer. Can the Lion’s Pride Event winner dethrone the reigning champion?"
Showcase Contest
[LAST MAN STANDING]
Julian Savell vs DeMarcus Gresham
"The reopening of Pride ignited this feud almost immediately. From the first conversation DeMarcus Gresham had with Jason Halich, it was a known fact that Julian Savell was at the top of his list. At every show that Pride has had so far, these two have found some way to take a shot at one another. They imploded as a team. They have interfered in each other’s matches. They have had to be kept separate by staff and security. Phenomenon marks the end of the line. Julian Savell and DeMarcus Gresham will finally be able to get their hands on one another, and this time, Pride is not even trying to keep control of the affair. It is rumored that all three referees on the Pride payroll will be officiating this one. There are no rules. There are no limits. This match could end up going anywhere in the arena, and only one man is walking out of this one under his own power. "
[COASTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH]
[ELIMINATION GAUNTLET]
Deacon Thomas vs Christian Micheals v James Williams vs Josh Anderson vs Spider
”Four contenders to the Coastal Championship were named all the the way back at Trick or Treat! However, Ignition’s Phenomenal Preview saw Spider get added into the mix. Jason Halich has taken it upon himself to make sure that the absolute best athlete emerges from this match as the winner. Therefore, only two people will be legal at any given point during the match. Those two individuals may tag in any of the other three members on the apron at any time. The one person left standing at the end of the match will be awarded the Coastal Championship. It is anyone’s guess who will walk away with Pride’s newest championship!"
Kendall James vs Jessie Salco
"Kendall James impressed management enough to get a shot at the Television Championship at the last Ignition. However, she fell short of claiming the championship, and found herself without a match for Phenomenon as a result. That is where newcomer Jessie Salco comes in. She is a veteran, with success all over her previous company, over multiple years. Across the ring from her is her first challenge in Pride Pro Wrestling, with a resume nowhere near as impressive. On the other hand, Kendall’s resume did not stack up well against Jessica Jones either, and only one of them made it out of their match with all their limbs still attached the right way. Rest assured, if Jessie wants to win in her debut, she is going to have to remind everyone how she earned every accomplishment on her resume."
[TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH]
Holly Rhodes (c) vs Sammy Duke
"In the first championship match of the night, Holly Rhodes finds herself standing across from a familiar face. Back at Trick or Treat, Holly Rhodes pinned Luke Jackson to become the first Pride Television Champion. Also in that match, was Sammy Duke. Violet Ripley made the call that since Sammy was not the one pinned in the match, technically he did not lose, that was Luke Jackson. As such, she made this match for Holly’s second defense of Pride’s most difficult championship to hang onto. The champion is going to have to definitively beat Sammy Duke if she is going to send him to the back of the line of challengers. For Sammy, another shot like this might not come his way for a long time; if he fails."
[SUBMISSION MATCH]
Maddie Wilson vs Eliza Valentine
"Finally we will have an end to all the madness. Since the moment Eliza Valentine signed in Pride, arguments between herself and Maddie Wilson have ensued. The two have traded insults on social media, and on Pride television. It would appear as though Eliza’s campaign against Jet City has finally forced Maddie to get into the ring herself. After interfering in Eliza’s match at the Phenomenal Preview, Maddie challenged Eliza to a match. The powers that be stepped in, and made it a submission match. One way or another, one of these two women is going to have to submit to the other. You can bet that they are going to rip each other apart long before that happens. The early betting lines say that this match could end up being the most brutal of the night."
Echo vs Jennifer Yang
"Both women made their in ring debut on Ignition Episode 004. For Jennifer Yang, that involved a big win over Drew Simmons. For Echo, it meant coming up just a little short against Julian Savell. These two women square off at Phenomenon, both looking to launch themselves into the spotlight in the company."
Drew Simmons w/Faith Rivers vs Britney Burke w/Luca
”Britney Burke signed with Pride just before Phenomenal Preview was set to air. She was not able to make that show, so she gets to make her debut on the biggest stage that Pride has to offer, Phenomenon. Britney will be accompanied by Luca, but across from her is a tall challenge. With Faith Rivers by his side, Drew Simmons has tasted victory here in Pride. Phenomenon could be the night all of the pieces finally come together."
Jay Wilson vs Gio Davidson
”Gio Davidson ran into a determined, and laser focused DeMarcus Gresham in his debut. That turned out to be too much to overcome on his first night on the job. Lucky for him, he now holds the edge in experience inside the Pride ring. Jay Wilson makes his debut for the company, and you know Gio is not going to want anyone trying to jump his place in line. Jay Wilson wants to make a good first impression on Pride, but Gio is not going down without a fight."
