How Much Do You Make?
PAY PER VIEW PROMOS: $1000It is a good question, right? It tends to come up more and more often. Everyone wants to be able to flaunt the amount of money they have made. People compare across companies, and even within the company itself. So, it is only logical that people would ask how it breaks down. Fortunately, it is pretty simple. There is no actual pay scale for Pride. There is not a specific amount of money that people are contracted to. That is not to say that everyone is making the same either. If you go to the members section, you can scroll down and see total amounts that people have made.
Some ways that roster members are paid are the exact same. For instance, there are uniform appearance rates, and bonuses. However, some parts of the pay scale are activity based. An individual that posts more promos, is going to be paid more because they are doing more work. In addition to that, winning individual championships carry their own dollar amounts. So, someone who is the top champion, but only posts one promo a week, might not necessarily be making more money than the person on the bottom of the roster, assuming that person is constantly putting out work.
The system was a little buggy at first, but I think I have it worked out now. Here is how it breaks down:
WHAT IS THE SAME?
SIGNING BONUS: $2500
By posting a contract, having it approved, and then having it moved to the active roster, your profile should show this amount of money. If not, it adds as soon as you are added to the roster group.
PER APPEARANCE RATE: $1000
This works as a weekly thing. The shows are every two weeks, so the system is designed to credit everyone in the roster group $500 for every week that they are in the group. Per appearance, that would be $1000.
CHAMPION APPEARANCE RATE: $1000
For as long as you hold a championship in Pride, regardless of which one it is, you are essentially paid double for your appearances.
CHAMPIONSHIP DEFENSES: $1000
Each successful defense of any of the three championships belts comes with its own bonus, regardless of which championship it is.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT?

Each promo that you post in the Pay Per View section, whether it be a new thread or a reply, will add $1000 to your profile.
IGNITION PROMOS: $750
Each promo that you post in the Ignition section, whether it be a new thread or a reply, will add $750 to your profile.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: $500
Each post in the character development section will give you $500. This counts for whoever the poster is, not whoever collaborated, but if you send me a message, I will credit you accordingly.
PRIDE CHAMPIONSHIP BONUS: $10,000
Winning the PRIDE Championship carries the bonus for each time you win the championship. This is not to be confused with the bonus for Championship Defenses.
COASTAL CHAMPIONSHIP BONUS: $7,500
Winning the Coastal Championship carries the bonus for each time you win the championship. This is not to be confused with the bonus for Championship Defenses.
TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP BONUS: $5,000
Winning the Television Championship carries the bonus for each time you win the championship. This is not to be confused with the bonus for Championship Defenses.
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?
Basically nothing. The monetary system does not control who is pushed, or who wins matches. There is no real bonus to having a ton of money showing up. Basically, it is a system put in place for fun. You guys can use it for your matches. You could use the amounts in the members list to determine who the 'face of Pride' is, or the most successful person. If anything, it gives you something else to possibly play off of. For the most part though, it was something I thought was interesting and wanted to try using.
