Hey guys,
It is late, or early depending on how you want to look at it. It took me much longer than I expected to get a couple of the matches done in a way that I was happy with. You guys will probably easily notice that the matches in the second half of the show are all much longer than those in the first half. I had to work out how to tell the stories that the matches needed to tell, and I just kept adding to all of them.
I mentioned schedule stuff earlier, and I think most of you probably saw it.
We are going to change things up a little in order to get around the holidays with no casualties. I am going to be doing feedback throughout the day tomorrow. I will probably go ahead and release a card tomorrow night, but it is not going to be due until the 3rd of December, due to Thanksgiving and a lot of people traveling over the holidays. Basically it just extends the RP window for a few additional days, which I am sure you will all be happy to have.
That show, which will actually take place on the 5th, will be our final Ignition before the next PPV event. There has not been a formal announcement, but those following along on Twitter, or in the results, or even talking to me know that the PPV will be Phenomenon. Those of you that were around last time should recognize the event. Phenomenon will take place the 19th of December (deadline will obviously be the 17th) and then we will take a two week break from Pride over the course of Christmas and New Years.
As you can see, pushing this next show back a week not only allowed us to avoid Thanksgiving, but also get in what is supposed to be the biggest show of the year, as the last show of the year, and give people a break while we all take care of the more important things in life over the holidays.
That being said, the first card after Phenomenon will be released ON New Years Eve, making the first show of 2018, January 16th.
So, that is what we have moving forward.
I hope that is okay with everyone.
If it is not, feel free to hit my DM box on Twitter, or my PM box on the boards and tell me that I am a shitty person.
